(Bangkok, 27 April 2010) – Thoresen Thai Agencies Public Company Limited (the “Company”) confirms that Mr. Terje Schau resigned from the Board of Directors effective on 26 April 2010 as a result of the Board’s decision to acquire close to 40% of Petrolift, Inc.
For the time being, the number of the Board of Directors will be reduced to nine (9). Given the Company’s international standing, the Nomination Committee has been able to approach a number of well-qualified candidates to succeed Mr. Schau, and the appointment of a new director will likely be made during the next Board meeting.
