Port Operations Business

Soleado acquired a 20% stake in Baria Serece from Yara Asia Pte. Ltd. in 2010.Baria Serece owns and operates Phu My port in South Vietnam. Phu My port is situated on the Thi Vai River, approximately 17 miles from the open sea, adjacent to Phu My industrial park. The port is Vietnam's largest dry cargo deep-water port, and is able to receive up to seven million tonnes of agricultural products, coal, and fertiliser per year. Baria Serece has completed its 453 metre quay upgrade project and has received a license to operate domestic and international general cargo vessels of up to 12 metres and 80,000 dwt. As such, the facility is favoured among Handymax, Supramax, and Panamax operators, as no lightering is needed prior to arrival.


Ship Supplies, Logistics, Ship Stevedoring and Transportation

Chidlom Marine Services & Supplies Ltd. ("CMSS"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of TTA , provides ship supplies and logistics services, including supply of ship stores, cargo dunnage materials, cargo lashing and securing equipment, cargo handling equipment, tally and checker services, forklift rental/services, warehouses and storage spaces for rental, material procurement, management, and distribution in Thailand. CMSS also provides ship stevedoring and transportation services, including cargo loading and unloading, cargo handling, and transportation.


Third Party Logistics Services

GAC Thoresen Logistics Ltd. ("GTL") was established to serve the Thai domestic logistics market. It’s a joint venture comprising TTA, Liechtenstein and GAC with TTA holding a majority stake of 51%. The company owns a 10,000 square metre warehouse facility at Amata Nakorn Industrial Estate and leases a 6,000 square metre warehouse facility at Bang Pa in Industrial Zone.

GTL is a third party logistics ("3PL") service provider that engages in warehousing, warehouse management, and domestic distribution for both local and multinational clients. The company operates in a niche environment and has secured mid to long-term contracts with a number of clients.


Coal & Logistics Business

Unique Mining Services Public Company Limited is a publicly listed company in Thailand that specializes in coal supply chain management providing end to end and just in time coal and coal logistics sales and distribution services in Thailand, primarily to small and medium-sized industrial clients.

It owns fleet of barges and two port facilities in Samut Sakorn and Ayudhaya which can provide transportation service over main rivers.


Petroleum Tankering Business

Thoresen Thai Agencies Plc. holds 40 % shares of Petrolift, Inc,a leading Philippines petroleum tanker company. Incorporated in 1992, Petrolift is an accredited tankering services contractor for the major oil companies in the Philippines. It owns and operates a fleet of nine petroleum tankers/barges and one liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) tanker. The fleet has a total capacity of about 30 million litres transporting fuel such as petroleum, ethanol, and LPG products to all major ports/depots in the Philippines.


Water Resources Management

Asia Infrastructure Management (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (“AIM”), an 80.5%-owned subsidiary of TTA, is a water contractor/service company. AIM also owns a concession to sell tap water in Luang Prabang, Laos, through a 66.7%-owned subsidiary.
